South Kelsey and Moortown Parish Council meet regularly in the Village Hall, Thornton Rd, South Kelsey, Market Rasen LN7 6PS. Current meetings dates

The role of the Parish Council is to represent the interests of the whole community.  We welcome members of the public to attend Parish Council Meetings to discuss any areas of concern and ideas they have for their local community.

The Parish Council is a part of local government supporting the democratic process. Local Councils provide a focus for the community to identify concerns and projects, and endeavour to solve them locally themselves.

The Parish Council is a local authority that makes decisions on behalf of the people in the parish and has an overall responsibility for the well-being of its local community.  It is the level government closest to the community, with the district authority above it in the hierarchy.
